I wanted to have my computer notes easily accessible so that I could use them myself. I also wish I would have known about data validation when I started to work in Excel, since it has improved the quality of my work and saves me time. I want other people to know how easy it is. I have a very large Excel spreadsheet that I work with at my job. I took this sheet over from someone else before I knew about data validation. Every time I look at the way company names are spelled in so many various ways, I am dismayed. Now I even use data validation for my personal Excel spreadsheets, recording the categories of charges on my credit card.
