This book focuses on 6G technology beyond 5G. The objective of next generation 6G wireless communications is to improve the benchmarks while simultaneously delivering additional services. Many widely expected future services, such as life‑critical services and wireless brain‑computer interactions, will be important to their success. This book presents the evolution of 6G technology, architecture, and implementation. This book provides a comprehensive overview of the theoretical and experimental modelling of 6G communication, providing detailed implementation issues and performance evaluation of emerging technologies along with research results, and networking methods.

Some chapters discuss various applications of 6G communication in different. The other parts of this book discuss the device-to-device communication system, viz. antenna, band, and gain for a 6G communication network. It also outlines the aim of the sixth-generation communication network, which is to provide revolutionary wireless communication services and applications to fulfill future demands in the 2030s while encouraging environmentally sustainable development. Other chapters provide a systematic overview of security and privacy challenges based on 6G physical, connection, and service layer technologies and lessons learned from current security architectures and state-of-the-art countermeasures. This book provides a good understanding of 6G communication and key enabling technologies, standards, components, terminology, and real-time applications.

This book focuses on three major parts: (i) architecture, (ii) security, and (iii) applications. This book is comprehensive material of 20 chapters.

Chapter 1 presents the background of 6G communication, the primary architecture of the 6G model, and challenges to implantation and briefly describes the perspective in the real-time scenario. This chapter also discusses the present research status of 6G technology, constraints, and solutions.

Chapter 2 focuses on next-generation wireless communication using intelligent reflecting surfaces. The wireless communication technology in its next generation, 6G and beyond, foresees to revolutionize the way we connect and communicate in the future. One of the key features of 6G and beyond communications project is the availability of spectrum in the order of terahertz (THz). However, it comes with several challenges including dominant line-of-sight components and large fading effects for wireless channels.

Chapter 3 discusses enabler technologies, challenges, and future research directions. The development of mobile communication technologies, particularly wireless communication, is accelerating and will likely continue for some time. This progression is being pushed forward by factors such as an expanding customer base’s ever-increasing demand as well as the advent of new applications, increased traffic rates, and more complex data services.

Chapter 4 provides a comprehensive review that delves into the multifaceted aspects of 6G communication networks, covering their architectural foundations, diverse applications, security imperatives, and the transformative integration of antennas with machine learning.
