Название: A Primer on Process Mining: Practical Skills with Python and Graphviz, 2nd Edition
Автор: Diogo R. Ferreira
Издательство: Springer
Год: 2020
Страниц: 102
Язык: английский
Формат: pdf (true), djvu
Размер: 10.1 MB

The main goal of this book is to explain the core ideas of process mining, and to demonstrate how they can be implemented using just some basic tools that are available to any computer scientist or data scientist. It describes how to analyze event logs in order to discover the behavior of real-world business processes. The end result can often be visualized as a graph, and the book explains how to use Python and Graphviz to render these graphs intuitively. Overall, it enables the reader to implement process mining techniques on his or her own, independently of any specific process mining tool. An introduction to two popular process mining tools, namely Disco and ProM, is also provided. In this second edition the code snippets have been updated to Python 3, and some smaller errors have been corrected.

Название: Reverse Hypothesis Machine Learning: A Practitioner's Perspective
Автор: Parag Kulkarni
Издательство: Springer
Год: 2017
Страниц: 150
Язык: английский
Формат: pdf (true), epub
Размер: 10.1 MB

This book introduces a paradigm of reverse hypothesis machines (RHM), focusing on knowledge innovation and Machine Learning (ML). Knowledge- acquisition -based learning is constrained by large volumes of data and is time consuming. Hence Knowledge innovation based learning is the need of time. Since under-learning results in cognitive inabilities and over-learning compromises freedom, there is need for optimal Machine Learning. All existing learning techniques rely on mapping input and output and establishing mathematical relationships between them. Though methods change the paradigm remains the same—the forward hypothesis machine paradigm, which tries to minimize uncertainty. The book is useful as a reference book for Machine Learning researchers and professionals as well as machine intelligence enthusiasts. It can also used by practitioners to develop new Machine Learning applications to solve problems that require creativity.
