"How to Develop a Software Project" is aimed at anyone who wants to learn to Develop a Software Project from scratch, step by step and with little or no knowledge on the subject. Survey, Analysis, Design, Programming, Testing and Maintenance techniques of Software in general will be explained applying them in a practical example. In turn, they will be able to learn (or remember if they have already studied it on another occasion) concepts of Software Engineering (about Product, Process, People and Project) as well as theory of the Life Cycle of a Software Project. In short, no one is exempt from reading this book!

Book is divided into 2 Parts. Each Part is organized in what I call "Steps", in an ascending way, with explanations and examples that go from when the Client calls your office for the first time, until you install the Software on their computer and receive the money from your work. Each Step reviews previous knowledge and it is important to go from the beginning, to understand the entire process of Development of a particular Software from its beginning. On the other hand, I will always try to give my experience and advice on topics that generally do not abound when a Developer starts programming Software independently. It is important to clarify that the first 2 Steps of Part I cover only theoretical topics of Software Engineering and Life Cycle of a Software Project. Stop at each Advice section and think if it can help you by applying it to your work.

I will try to offer my knowledge and experience of 15 years as a Computer Software Analyst/Designer/Programmer, explaining concepts about Software Engineering, Life Cycle of a Software Project and the 6 Phases of the Cycle: Survey, Analysis, Design, Programming, Testing and Maintenance. On the other hand, my intention is to advise you on the practices that helped me in the Projects that have been carried out and we will do the practice with a specific example of Software. It is not an easy task to pour into trivial words, for people without knowledge of these subjects, complicated technical concepts, but I will try! I hope to achieve my goal.
