Монография посвящена исследованию двигательной активности современного учителя-женщины в контексте соматического здоровья и мотивационной сферы личности. Уточнены нормы и методы измерения двигательной активности, раскрыты группы факторов, влияющих на объем двигательной активности современных педагогов. Определен объем двигательной активности учителей разных возрастных групп и дана его оценка в репрезентативной выборке с учетом актуальных норм. Разработаны и апробированы программы диагностики физического развития, функциональных состояний, физической работоспособности и физической подготовленности учителей, проведена интерпретация и оценка полученных результатов. Выявлены особенности мотивации учителей к здоровому образу жизни, формированию здоровье-ориентированного стиля профессиональной деятельности и повышению уровня двигательной активности.
