Задачник охватывает все разделы теории линейных и нелинейных цепей курса теоретических основ электротехники. Кроме задач, схемы и параметры которых выбраны авторами произвольно с целью подчеркнуть тот или иной метод расчета, приведено много задач, возникающих при исследовании процессов в реальных электротехнических устройствах. При подготовке третьего издания задачника были внимательно просмотрены все задачи второго издания. Некоторые задачи, которые были признаны менее интересными и полезными, заменены новыми. Эти новые задачи, а также дополнительные задачи, помещенные во все главы задачника, вошли в практику занятий со студентами уже после выхода предыдущего издания.
Задачник предназначен в качестве учебного пособия для студентов электроэнергетических и электротехнических специальностей вузов.
